I started working as a Dental Nurse in 1997 after leaving school. I sat the National Exam in 1999 and then went on to do my Oral Health Educator qualification in 2001. In 2010 I gained my qualification in Dental Radiology and have a special interest in implant nursing. I recently gained my Certificate in Implant Nursing from Kings College London. I spoke in April 2011 at the bi annual ADI conference which was very well received. I also run a one day course for nurses who are just becomming involved in implant dentistry, details of which can be found by going to 'courses' on the website
I worked previously with Dr Jacobs for a number of years on the south side of Glasgow as an implant nurse and have been at Dental fx for about four years now. When I am not working I enjoy walking with my partner Leo and my son Kieron. I am actively involved in the National Autistic Society and fundraise for this worthy cause.
