Dental Hygenist

I very much enjoy my career as a dental hygienist and feel a real sense of job fulfilment at the end of each day. I was working as dental nurse for three years until I decided I would like to be more ‘hands on’ with the patients.

The way to achieve this seemed to be to train as a Dental Hygienist and I successfully completed my Hygiene course in December 2001.

I like having my own patients and seeing their confidence build up as they regularly attend the hygienist service. When I am not working I enjoy a wide range of activities including reading, cooking and walking.
